The Golden Voiced Frances Langford never sang a bad note in her life. A particular favorite of mine is 'With the Wind and the Rain in Your Hair'. A terrific song from the 30's expertly crafted by Frances. No one could express the composers intent of a song like she could. Exact diction, perfect pitch and just the right excitement, melancholy, or happiness PLUS those gorgeous soft pianissimo's that just melt your heart, evidence of her early operatic training.
