It was a joy to listen to this group of wonderfully written and performed songs. Thank you Alison & all for this great CD. I have been a Beautiful South fan for years, even flying from Texas to Philadelphia to catch them on the "Painting It Red" tour. When they disbanded after Superbi, I missed them so for the past years I've been hoping that somehow the songs would continue. When I began listening to 'Sweet Refrain', I found that not only had the group returned, they had improved. So much of the music out there nowadays you simply cannot enjoy (and to be honest, I cannot recommend to friends). This is music that you can not only enjoy, you can celebrate and share with all without hesitation. It's that good. Do yourself a favor, get this CD. You will not regret it as all.
