There are no reviews for this so I bought this one with nothing to go on. This is a good thing sometimes as you have no expectations but sometimes, not so much. This book wasn't really even tollerable, probably because it's part of a series, that has an over arching love story from book to book, and that love story pretty much ends up being the main focus of at least half the pages here. Having not read the earlier books and not planing on reading the next book I didn't get a whole look at that relationship. There was also a second secondary romance that seems to have an over arching storyline, which started in another book and ended here, point being more pages about a couple that I knew nothing about. The main love story could hardly be called that. I don't know if there was interaction that I missed between them early on, but as far as I could tell there was no explination for why she loved him, none. The main plot here, heroine Sophie is secretary for lawyer Guy. Gib dumped Sophie for Valirie and she's all broke up about it, she goes to their engagement party and nearly sleeps with Guy afterwards, just because he pretty much corieces her too. Now you'd think this would set a lot of interaction up, but Sophie spends the majority of the book dating other guys (no pun intended) and I think the two people who spent the least amount of time were Guy and Sophie.
