Quite satisfied with this modest compendium of some of Gloria's best recordings, mostly from radio shows. She was one of the most underrated singers and all around musical actresses of the '40s and '50s. Often, I wonder if I'm actually listening to Ella Fitzgerald or Dina Shore! If you like either of their voices, you'll like Gloria's singing. "Come Out, Come Out, Wherever You Are" in done twice. That's OK, as it's quite a catchy tune, and I consider it her signature song. The second version seems to be from the film "Step Lively", where she costarred with Sinatra, who probably is the uncredited male singer who chimes in later in the number. The only negative is the inaccurate program insert on the jacket back. Whoever put that together wasn't on the same page as the actual song compiler! "Blue Moon" isn't even listed, but it's the 4th song, inserted before "Exactly Like You". And the 8th(actually 9th) song is "Somebody Loves Me", not "The Man I Love"!. So, this compendium actually is better than what the jacket suggests, as those are two of her best songs!
