Both Robert Bracey and Andrew Harley are excellent musicians that shine in this great collection of English song. Having worked personally with both of these men, they are great on and off stage, excelling in the roles of teacher and performer. The only real problem that I have with this album is the recording space. Recorded in the Recital Hall of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, the quality suffers a bit. Listening to this duo in the hall live is an overwhelming experience, but it doesn't quite make that jump to CD. As far as interpretation goes, you can trust that both of these professors know their stuff. It is essential for any student who seeks to study vocal music as well as any fan of superb singing and piano playing.
