Jude Christian, originally from England, now resides in the United States. She became interested in Celtic music singing through her children and listening to the beautiful voices of Delores Keane and Niamh Parsons. This is her debut album produced and arranged with Stu James with material that ranges from traditional tunes, both Scots and Irish as well as more modern material written in memory of past historical events in Ireland, Scotland, the Isle of Man, and America. Stu James resides in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where he succumbed to the natural pull of traditional music of the region. He was drawn into Irish music when he and his daughter traveled to County Clare in 2005 as part of a musical education trip, and he hasn't looked back since. Stu is an avid songwriter and is now engaged in learning as many Irish tunes as possible while his brain synapses are still firing. Looking back, he probably should have built a larger closet for his instruments. Several of the songs on Sweet Inniscarra feature Jude and Stu's dear friends and bandmates, Joe Basconi on fiddle, Monika Fallon on flute and backing vocals, and Rich Lange on backing vocals.
