I happened upon this album at a local indie record store. I decided to give it a try, and was pleasantly surprised. This band really rocks. The most surprising thing was how much the horn section plays into the band's sound. The horns are right up front with the rest of the instruments, not simply used for ambiance or as a "compliment".Take the Black Keys, mix in some Motown Soul, and add a touch of Early 70's guitar histrionics, and you'll have some Idea of what to expect.I for one am anxiously awaiting their next release.
