The personal stories of 10 teenagers reflect the problems and stereotypes affecting Latinos across the United States. With Denver, Colorado and La Academia, a small alternative school, as the back drop, "Sweet Ambition" tells the story of so many inner city Latinos: a cycle of poverty and teen pregnancy, with gangs, drugs, violence, and jail constantly keeping them from reaching their dreams. This emotionally raw documentary takes a real look at 10 teens who are struggling to break this cycle.
