This is a well built machine. It uses real metals: aluminum and stainless steel which are cast and/or machined to fit.I bought it for home use, but it's actually commercial food equipment. Its much bigger than not-so-cheap plastic spiralizers, and well worth the investment. I still have the curly fry blade set on it, but I plan to buy other blades to yield thinner strands. The blade that comes with this produces 1/4" x 1/4" cross section strands. Also, I should note that it really needs to be mounted with screws onto a table or a base.The parts come apart for easy thorough cleaning. Super happy with it!
